Two Games, One Weekend in Milan

The November double-header offers an interesting rematch following the clubs' first encounter of the 2026/27 campaign.

On September 26, 2026, Milano Hockey Club defeated the Vienna Capitals 6–2 in Austria, securing an impressive away victory during its inaugural ICE Hockey League season.

The November fixtures reverse the setting, with Milano now playing at home in front of its supporters. Vienna arrives with an opportunity to respond to that earlier result, while the Italian side will look to build on its first success against the Austrian club.

Unlike a single league meeting, this weekend features two separate matches against the same opponent. Supporters can attend the Saturday fixture, return on Sunday or choose the date that best fits their visit to Milan.

Milano Hockey Club's First ICE Hockey League Season

The 2026/27 campaign represents an important chapter for ice hockey in Milan. Milano Hockey Club joined the ICE Hockey League as a new participant, bringing top-level international club competition back to the city.

The championship features 14 clubs representing Italy, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia, with Milano joining fellow Italian teams HC Bolzano and HC Pustertal.

Each club plays 52 regular-season games, facing every other participant four times. The competition brings a demanding schedule of home and away fixtures, with teams working toward qualification for the postseason.

For Milano, the arrival of established Austrian opponents such as the Vienna Capitals is part of the challenge of competing in this international environment.

The November double-header provides another opportunity for local supporters to follow the club's development during its debut season.
