Allianz Cloud, Milan's rebuilt Palalido

Allianz Cloud stands on Piazzale Stuparich in the Portello area of Milan, on the site of the historic Palalido, the city's sports hall opened in 1961 with 3,500 seats. After the old building closed in 2010, a complete reconstruction designed by TECO+Partners produced a modern arena that reopened in June 2019 under its current name.

Today the hall is one of Milan's busiest indoor venues, hosting top-flight volleyball with Vero Volley, basketball, boxing nights and concerts, with a capacity of around 5,400 seats for sports events.

Sectors: rings, tribunes and parterre

Seating is arranged on two rings: roughly 2,055 places on the first ring closest to the floor and 3,254 on the second. The named sectors follow the surrounding streets — Tribuna Stuparich (with separate entrances for first and second ring), Tribuna Lido and Curva Cremosano — while the flat parterre in front of the stage or court is used for floor seating at concerts and shows. Configurations vary by event, so the on-sale seating map is the reference for each date.

Getting there

The arena entrance at Piazza Stuparich 1 is about a four-minute walk from Lotto station (signed Lotto Fieramilanocity), served by Milan Metro lines M1 (red) and M5 (lilac). Trolleybus lines 90 and 91 on the ring road and buses 48, 49, 68, 78 and 98 also stop nearby. Milano Cadorna railway station is about 4 km away, with a direct M1 connection.
