A Factory Reborn as a Stage

Fabrique opened in September 2014 in Milan's Via Mecenate district, inside a former industrial site previously occupied by Venus Dischi, one of Italy's most important record distributors from the 1980s to the early 2000s. The roughly 2,000 m² space was redesigned by Studio Architetti Beretta and developed by entrepreneur Daniele Orlando, keeping the converted-factory feel — exposed steel structures, raw concrete, modern lighting and sound — that defines the venue.

A modular layout allows configurations from intimate 200-person club shows up to a capacity of around 3,200. Fabrique has become a flagship mid-size stop on the Italian touring circuit, welcoming international rock, electronic and hip-hop tours along with Italian indie and pop artists. The Cure, Mumford & Sons, Florence + the Machine and Marracash have all played here.
