Two major European cities, one EuroLeague court

Paris Basketball's rapid rise has brought a newer identity to the EuroLeague, contrasting with Olimpia Milano's long European history. The French club has developed a reputation for modern, pace-driven basketball and has quickly become a familiar opponent at this level.

For Milan, the game arrives at the end of a busy December schedule that also includes Bayern Munich at home and road games against Hapoel, Besiktas and Anadolu Efes.

Peppe Poeta's team will be aiming to carry the confidence of their 2025/26 domestic treble into Europe. With players such as Marko Guduric, Darius Thompson, Leandro Bolmaro and Alec Peters, Olimpia have multiple ways to create offense against a Paris side comfortable playing at speed.

Basketball in Milan during the festive season

The 23 December date makes this one of the more unusual home games on the calendar. Visitors already travelling to Milan for Christmas can add EuroLeague basketball to their stay without leaving the metropolitan area.
