Hapoel's rise to the EuroLeague

Hapoel Tel Aviv earned their place among Europe's leading clubs after winning the EuroCup in 2025. Their arrival added another ambitious team to an increasingly competitive EuroLeague field.

The January game is the second meeting between Hapoel and Olimpia during the 2026/27 regular season, following Milan's trip to face them in December. Playing the return fixture barely a month later means both teams will have a relatively recent tactical reference point.

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan enter the season under Peppe Poeta following a 2025/26 campaign that ended with three domestic trophies. The EuroLeague represents the next major challenge for a roster containing extensive experience of the competition.
