European pedigree on both sides

Anadolu Efes remain closely associated with one of the strongest periods in modern EuroLeague history after winning consecutive European titles in 2021 and 2022.

Olimpia know the Turkish club well from years of meetings in the regular season and beyond. Their first matchup of 2026/27 takes place in Istanbul in December, before Efes travel to Milan for the return game in March.

By then the regular season will have entered its decisive final stretch. With fewer than ten games remaining after this fixture, the standings and postseason race are likely to give the match additional importance without changing its basic appeal: two experienced EuroLeague organisations competing at the Unipol Forum.

March begins in Milan

The Efes game starts a busy March for Olimpia, which also includes a home meeting with defending champions Olympiacos just five days later.

For visiting supporters, the Friday evening schedule makes this fixture suitable for a basketball-focused weekend in Milan. The arena is located in Assago, to the south of the city.
