A rematch after the Belgrade opener

There is already a clear storyline to this game. Milan began their 2026/27 EuroLeague season away against Partizan, losing 92-76 in Belgrade. The January meeting provides Olimpia with the home half of the season series.

Partizan games also bring a distinctive atmosphere. The Serbian club is known throughout European basketball for its support, and its away fixtures often attract travelling fans as well as neutral followers of the competition.

For Milan, Marko Guduric adds another Serbian link to the matchup. The experienced guard is one of the central figures in a roster coached by Peppe Poeta after Olimpia's trophy-filled domestic campaign in 2025/26.

Friday night EuroLeague basketball

Unlike many of Olimpia's Thursday home fixtures, the Partizan game takes place on a Friday, making it particularly convenient for supporters planning a weekend in Milan.

The Unipol Forum in Assago has staged major European basketball for decades and provides a fitting venue for a game involving two clubs with substantial continental history.
