U2 Milan Tickets 2027 – San Siro Stadium

U2 return to Milan for two major stadium concerts on Monday, July 5 and Tuesday, July 6, 2027, bringing Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour to the legendary Stadio San Siro.

Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. are heading back to one of Italy's most celebrated concert venues as part of their first stadium tour since 2019. The shows mark a return to San Siro, where the Irish band previously performed during the Vertigo and U2 360° tours.

Fans looking for U2 tickets in Milan can explore ticket options for both dates and choose their preferred concert experience at San Siro.

The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour 2027

U2's 2027 world tour represents a significant new chapter for the band, combining material from their forthcoming album Carnaval De Luz with songs spanning five decades of music.

The tour begins in Mexico City on February 23, 2027, before travelling through Latin America and Europe. The Milan performances are part of the European stadium leg, bringing the band back to the large-scale outdoor concerts that have defined some of their most ambitious live productions.

The tour also reunites the four founding members on stage. Larry Mullen Jr.'s involvement is particularly notable following his absence from the band's 2023–2024 residency at Sphere in Las Vegas.

With Bono's vocals, The Edge's distinctive guitar sound and the rhythm section of Clayton and Mullen, the new tour returns to the full-band format familiar to generations of U2 fans.

New Music from Carnaval De Luz

The concerts follow the announcement of Carnaval De Luz, U2's 16th studio album, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. Produced by Jacknife Lee, it is the group's first album of entirely new studio material in nine years.

The record introduces a new creative direction while retaining elements of the sound that made U2 one of the world's most influential rock bands.

Among the songs released ahead of the album are Street of Dreams, Silencio and The Greatest Show On Earth. The latter, co-written with longtime collaborator Brian Eno, also lends its name to the world tour.

The album includes contributions from Brian Eno, Martin Garrix and Daniel Lanois, reflecting the band's continuing interest in combining rock music with different production styles.

The 2027 concerts are expected to draw from both this new material and U2's extensive back catalogue. Songs such as With or Without You, One, Beautiful Day, Where the Streets Have No Name, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Vertigo remain central to the band's musical legacy, although the exact setlists for Milan have not been announced.

U2 at San Siro: A Return to a Historic Venue

San Siro has a special place in U2's Italian concert history.

The band performed two concerts at the stadium on July 20 and 21, 2005, during the Vertigo Tour. Four years later, they returned for another pair of shows on July 7 and 8, 2009, as part of the U2 360° Tour.

Those 2009 concerts featured the tour's distinctive circular stage, designed to offer audiences views of the performance from multiple directions.

The 2027 dates will therefore bring U2 back to San Siro 18 years after their previous performances at the stadium.

Milan has remained an important stop for the band in the intervening years. In October 2018, U2 performed four concerts at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago during the Experience + Innocence Tour.

The July 2027 concerts offer a different setting, returning the group to the scale of an outdoor stadium production.

Stadio San Siro, Milan

Officially known as Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, San Siro is one of Europe's most recognisable stadiums and a landmark of Milan's sporting and musical culture.

Its distinctive towers, steep grandstands and enormous performance space have made it a popular destination for major international tours.

Located in the western part of Milan at Piazzale Angelo Moratti, the stadium is accessible by public transport. The M5 metro line serves the San Siro Stadio station, while the M1 line provides connections through Lotto.

For visitors travelling to Milan specifically for the concerts, San Siro offers the atmosphere of a large outdoor event within reach of the city's accommodation, restaurants and transport network.
