Inaugurated on 19 September 1926, San Siro is the largest stadium in Italy and the shared home of AC Milan and Inter Milan, who contest the historic Derby della Madonnina here. Expanded in 1955 and again for the 1990 FIFA World Cup with its distinctive helical access ramps and signature third tier, it was renamed in 1980 after two-time World Cup winner Giuseppe Meazza.
Beyond football, San Siro is Italy's premier stadium concert venue, regularly hosting tours by Bruce Springsteen, U2, Coldplay, Vasco Rossi and other global headliners.
