Valencia return after a breakthrough European season

Valencia reached their first EuroLeague Final Four in 2026, establishing themselves as much more than an occasional contender. Their return to Milan therefore carries extra interest, particularly with the Spanish club looking to build on that breakthrough.

The 2026/27 Valencia squad also started the new EuroLeague season strongly, with TJ Shorts making an immediate offensive impact. Olimpia will need to deal with a team capable of changing tempo quickly and creating scoring opportunities from the backcourt.

Milan enter the campaign with a different storyline. After missing the EuroLeague postseason in 2025/26, they ended the year by dominating domestically, winning the Super Cup, Italian Cup and Serie A championship.
