Finland vs France – 21:00
The second semifinal has a very different storyline. Finland arrive at Unipol Forum after producing one of the defining results of the knockout stage, eliminating hosts Italy in a five-set quarterfinal in Turin.
Finland won 3-2, taking the deciding set 15-13 to secure only their second appearance in a EuroVolley semifinal. Their route through the knockout rounds also included a five-set victory over Greece in the round of 16.
They now meet France, who reached the semifinals without dropping a set in either of their first two knockout matches. France beat Portugal 3-0 in the round of 16 before defeating Romania by the same score in the quarterfinals.
The French team also arrives in Milan as the reigning Olympic champion, while Finland's run has already taken them further than almost any previous Finnish side in European Championship history.
The EuroVolley Final Weekend at Unipol Forum
Unipol Forum in Assago hosts the decisive matches of the 2026 Men's European Volleyball Championship. The semifinals are scheduled for September 25, followed by the bronze-medal match and championship final on September 26.
